Time to relax

First off, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Wedding season is officially over as I have about six weeks off, one show on New Year's Eve, and then another couple of months off before the spring gets things going again. The time off gives me some time to spend with my wife, catch up on some college football and basketball, and work hard to book events for next year. The "booking season" has gotten off to a great start and I love explaining to brides what makes Iowa DJ different from the competition. Its a lot of fun meeting with future brides and getting to talk about our company.

We will be doing our thing at a few bridal shows come January so keep an eye out for us!

Downtown Marriott Wedding Reception

This past August we had the pleasure to DJ for Nicholas and Joyce Richards. Bill Burkett and Nathan Early tag teamed this event as the DJs and kept the dance floor packed! We couldn't have asked for better clients, a better crowd, or a better venue. The staff at the Downtown Des Moines Marriott truly make our jobs as DJs so much easier. Congratulations once again Nick and Joyce! We wish you both a blessed marriage!

Wedding DJ and Drummer

This video was taken from a black tie wedding reception at the Wakonda Country Club in Des Moines, IA. We brought in a DJ / Drummer duo for this event and the live percussion definitely spiced up the event! If you're interested in having a drummer compliment the DJ at your next event, just ask!

Creating a lasting video out of your fondest memmories

Each year, dozens of clients ask for our assistance in developing a unique and memorable slideshow. Their reasoning is always different and ranges from not having enough time or lacking the needed resources to truly create a professional piece of work. Regardless of the reasoning, we are always happy to assist clients in the creation of a slideshow...even the monotonous job of scanning in hundreds of photos! All of our clients will receive their custom designed slideshow on a DVD following their event, allowing them to cherish the memories forever :)

Tournament Club of Iowa Recommendation

This month, we were privileged to have been able to DJ at the Tournament Club of Iowa in Polk City for the first time in history. It was an extremely beautiful and high-end facility that had outstanding professional staff members. We are also honored to have been added to their preferred vendors list after only our first performance there! We're excited to continue to develop a strong relationship with the Tournament Club of Iowa in the future!
